We weeded ours well a few days ago. It's been getting a lot of rain. Our squash will be putting out vegies soon, but it will be awhile on the rest.

My kids and neighborhood kids including a 21 year old friend we wouldn't expect that from pulled off most of the ton of peaches on our tree (they were about golf ball sized and green) and threw them all over the neighborhood for fun. We'll be lucky Paul said if we get 15 peaches off the tree this year.

Kids are banned from our yard now.

That is awful about your peaches. I can understand why the kids are banned from your yard! ACK! Hopefully you will find another supply of peaches somewhere -- farmers market or the like -- and make up for the ones you have lost.

Our garden is okay, but on the dry side. They keep predicting rain and we are still waiting.

The pole beans I planted a couple of weeks ago are up. I should be able to harvest some peas from our vines tonight if I'm lucky. I meant to pick some lettuce and make wilted lettuce over the long weekend --- maybe tonight too. The odd plant Asparagus Pea is very pretty --- and I noticed is finally setting fruit, which is none too plentiful. The fruit looks like tiny pickles and you are supposed to steam it or stir fry it. I planted all the seed I had so I have to just enjoy the pretty flowers this plant is making. Thet are nice.

Well, I have one tiny green tomato and a couple more blooms. I just set out green peppers but I can see the blooms coming. It will be awhile for my squash and cukes. I planted some more zucchini seeds and watermelons - we'll see if they take. Alas, I have no bean plants and I am bummed about that!

I am so unhappy......most of our garden died.....we had several days of near 100 degree temps a few weeks back and my little plants couldn't take it! We are in the process of replacing them. I am pretty sure we will only do tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans and peppers!

Our hot weather and then 7 straight days of pouring rain did in our garden as well. I lost my roma tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, and broccoli. :( I'm extremely disappointed.
