I don't know any fellow minimalists, but in case anyone visiting is interested there are a couple of catalogs I love to look through for minimalist decor items and you may enjoy them too.

With being in a decorating industry for most of my career, I can say that most people don't lean toward a minimalist decor. I like the open space and the ease of cleaning. I also love clean lines and the simplicity of it all. I know for some people it's much too sterile looking, but for me it's peaceful even if it's stark.

I'm actually the same way. I don't really do much home decorating though. I don't like rooms that are too busy, too crowded, etc. even if they are attractive. There is just too much to look at and it seems to make me almost cross eyed. I would not knock it in others homes, but I prefer more simple elegant decor also.

:D Englishlady!!!!

I like the simplicity but at the same time I like my stuff too! To be honest I am tired of all my clutter and would love to scale back.....some of the stuff is kind of neat. I know my dd would love most of it.......she is almost 18 and I can definately see her home (when she has her own home) filled with some of the stuff from those links!!!!
