I thought this was a neat and thoughtful idea.



Basket of Slippers


In the winter, place an array of terry-cloth slippers by the door for guests. Fill a basket with comfortable slippers or soft, heavy socks as a warm welcome for visitors—and an inducement to remove wet boots.

Very cute idea.....we had a lot of rain this winter season and this would have saved me from cleaning up wet muddy floors!!

my mil foes that, always has a drawer of homemade slippers for any size when people come over. Its a great idea Heather. Thanks. I think Ill have to start that too.

Slipper socks would work too, and ight be easier to accomodate various iszes.
