water from who knows where

leaked into our basement. It soaked the carpeting. Luckily, our carpet is just a remnant placed upon an installed pergot floor and the flooring isn't lifting or anything, but it was a ton of water. We just aren't sure where it came from.
Could be the rain, could be the ac, could be the water line from the faucet outside, and could be the washer. How's that for enough places it could be from. ugh

I've had fans on, but I can alread smell the dampness and just hope nothing molds. :(

I know how you feel Sara. Hopefully you can find where the water is coming from. If you've had lots of rain, its quite possible its coming from that.
