I don't know about all of you, but with four kids, I can't seem to keep up sometimes... I have begun to realize that I wash and rewash clean clothing... Kids just don't get it, so I have begun to have a kitchen trash bag with me EVERY time I do laundry and if it is stained, too small, or they just don't wear it I throw it immediately into the bag... Now it will either go to the garage sale this summer or Goodwilll, and I know that the items are clean..... This is the way I deal with all the "extra" shoes too... Just a thought. ;)

I can't keep up with 2 kids. They also throw clean clothes all over the floor. The younger girl hides clothes under and behind the bed, too.

I was just whining about laundry a few minutes ago. It's a big job over here. I'm working my butt off today to get it tackled and then it's time for a new system here because obviously the old one "ain't" working. lol

That is a great idea Bonnie. I remember when my 3 were at home I did 3 loads a day..everyday. If I missed one day it turned into nine....??? How did that happen?

My daughter is TERRIBLE about bringing what I know are CLEAN clothes to the laundry to be washed -- mostly because she dumps them on the floor and then she thinks they are dirty. I've begun telling her (and her brother) that if anything comes to the laundry that I know is clean and has not been worn I will throw it away. Your idea here is a step up on that -- Thanks!!

Also, I've made my daughter responsible for her own laundry (she is 12). We've had too many cranky mornings when the RIGHT clothes were not ready for her to wear.

Silly me, I thought my kids were the only ones who did this.....!!!
