We're having a minor heat wave here, and our poor kitties are really hot. Today they we're sleeping on the glass tables and the safe because they're cooler than the carpet! But for some reason, they still want to snuggle up next to us - go figure! Does anyone do anything special when they're cats are hot?

My cat like to lick ice cubes. My dog eats them. I just fill a bowl with ice cubes and they share. :)

Our cat loves ice cubes as well. We just put them in a bowl and she licks them.

We also have a fan in dd's bedroom and that is where she spends most of her time.

It has been hot here too, and our kitten (about 6 months old) has been uncomfortable. She has been sprawled out on the wood floors and on a wooden chair -- cooling her tummy I guess. Our older cat doesn't seem to be uncomfortable.

I'll have to let them try the bowl of ice cubes!
