Is there a trick to hanging clothes out without them getting stiff? I have tried not only fab softener, but have heard that vinegar does the trick. I haven't had any luck though. I use vinegar as a fabric softener, but it doesn't seem to work for line drying. I usually, bring clothes in and run them through the dryer for a few minutes to take out the stiffness. I do not like to iron, so would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

i usually would go out every so often to check on them and shake them as they dried. then when i folded them i'd give them a good snapping ( not sure how to describe this except to shake it really hard once) other than the towels, this usually soften things up. they won't be anywhere near as soft as when they come out of the dryer as when you hang dry though. i prefer them hang dried, but can't have a clothes line here.
