We're an odd couple over here. Just don't own many tools. I'm compiling a list of tools that are handy for homeowners, but also want to hear about the tools you have at your house.

Hammer
Tape Measure
Screwdrivers
Various Pliers
Adjustable wrenches
flashlights
handsaw
caged bulbs
Drill

Tool box
cordless drill (the absolute best tool since sliced bread). I use dh's all the time.
Level
Small containers of nails of different sizes and screws of different sizes

Sara those should be added to everyone's tool box too. Also in that tool box should be bandaids!!! :D

My list would be a mile long if I posted our tools. Dh doesn't go w/o many tools, most purchased when on sale. He's been purchasing them for 37 years though which makes a huge difference than having to purchase them all at once.

Don't forget good old Duct tape! Electrical tape, volt meter, various glues, clamps, extension cords...

You might add a utility knife and scissors
