Has anyone used pam on their mixer whisks? I don't have a KA and use this little tiny cheapie (we're talking maybe $10) mixer. lol Pancake time is always funny because batter is flying around. Anyway, I read a tip to use pam on the whisks and that the batter won't fly around. I'm going to give this a try and I'll get back to you. lol

Yes I do. I own a KA and I use it also on my bread hook. Keeps the dough from rising over the top of the hook. Works like a charm.

I'll need to try this one. I don't think I would have come up with it on my own

Me either Michelle. Someone gave me the tip a long time ago. It was a good thing too, because mixing bread dough was pretty disastrous the first time I did it. Sorta like my grainmill when it came apart and I had freshly ground flour everywhere.

How neat (I originally typed meat ugh) that my original post was pre-KA. haha I have one now and am still waiting to get the beater blade or side swiper.
