Its usually very quiet here. Like my birthday, I pretty much get to do what I want. We usually end up by going out for supper as well.

I also send my mom a card. She is too far away to visit and she doesn't like flowers.

Quiet here too. I will usually get a hanging basket and take it down to Mel's mom and him and Ryan will usually make me a cake.

This will be my first Mother's Day since my mom passed away :(

I used to go get her a hanging basket and visit for the day. This year I will probably just hang around the house.

Both of our mothers live several hours away so we won't be seeing them.

Some years my family takes me out to breakfast and then to flea markets. I don't know what they have planned for this year.

Usually we just go out to breakfast. This year, I'd like just a nice breakfast at home and to spend a day outside all together. Maybe do some yardwork. :) I always feel awesome after working in the yard.

I have Jack & the kids bow down & worship me, catering to my every whim.:D

Na....Hopefully I'll get what I wish for every year, my windows washed for me, inside & out.:)
Jacks family never was big into "those made up to sell greeting cards" holidays but I always make sure to let my mil know she is loved.

Dh makes me breakfast and the rest of the day I do whatever I want. Sometimes we watch a movie together as a family or go to the nature park for a walk. The one thing I will NOT be doing is going out to eat. It might sound strange but for me it is not a treat when our restaurants are over crowded, food isn't great because it's so busy and there's just too much noise. I much prefer a quiet dinner at home, fixed by my family of course :D

I phone my mom and have a nice long phone visit and then dh and I phone his mom.

We usually dont' do anything big. A few years ago DH bought me a mother's ring... then we had the vasectomy baby so I need a new one now!
