Its interesting because in all the years I've been doing this, I've never missed anything I gave away, threw out or donated.

Can't think of anything that I've especially missed either. Usually by the time I get rid of it, it's passed being useful to me.

Yep, a set of Corning mixing bowls. I didn't use them a whole lot but I liked them. I gave them to my younger sis, and at Easter I almost took home one as she had brought a salad in it! Still thought it was mine! :D

That's funny Dee. :D

I miss some items that I've sold, but nothing I've tossed or donated.
I miss a two piece crystal pedestal punch bowl that I sold. At the time I thought I'd never serve punch. I also sold some crystal shrimp cocktail servers. They were beautiful, but when times were tough all sorts of these types of things had to go. I don't regret selling them though. I'd do it again if I had to.

LOL Dee! :D

No, I've never missed anything. It's so weird because at the time I take items to Goodwill or the consignment store there is that little tug on my heart, like why am I getting rid of this, but then a few days later it's hard to remember even what I took.

Not really!
only once in over 25 years can I remember wondering where a certain item of clothing was!

I was a cotton Cardigan that was almost like a jacket and I had hardly ever worn it, then cropped up the ONE occaison that I could/would have worn it, did I look for it & wonder where it was

Most of the time I feel guilty for hanging on to stuff that I bought & never/hardly ever wore, so getting rid of them to the Charity shop eases the stress ;)

These days I give myself the 3rd degree before I will buy anything, and if I DO, then something else has to go :D

I have, but can't remember what it was. I think it was craft supplies.

Nope. If I think I'll regret, I don't let it go. Still holding onto the bassinette dh's grandmother gave me when my first was born...
