Anyway, Joe is working all weekend so I am going to head to my mom's on Thursday afternoon late. That evening we will pack her car up, Friday she will get a ride to work with a co worker who lives about 2 miles away from her and I will then pick her up at lunch and we will be on our way to Raleigh, NC for the weekend. We are going to stay with her sister (the aunt I was named after) and my brother and his girlfriend (who have only seen their niece once) live in Chapel Hill and are going to come by and spend some time with us as well. Saturday we are cooking out and a friend of mine and Joes who lives there as well (and was in our wedding) may come by and see me. He is getting married in August so I am going to go on and take him his wedding present so it will be one less he has to carry back with him since the wedding is out of town.
Also that Sunday after we get back to Hickory (eventhough we won't be home that morning) the church I grew up in is having a covered dish supper for the Preacher and his family since he is retiring (that Morning will be his last service) and we are going to go their for that.
If my dad isn't out of town mom is going to stop by his and his girlfriends house so they can see their granddaughter as well (and me of course).
Then Monday morning when everyone heads to work, I will head home myself so I can be home around the same time Joe gets up as I know he will be anxious to see his daughter (and me of course).
