I have a Husqvarna Lily 555 which I love, but here is the sewing machine I would really like. Someday I will.

I would really like a Designer I. http://www.epinions.com/hmgd-Sewing_Machines-Husqvarna_Viking-Sewing_Machines-Husqvarna_Viking_Designer_I

cj, that machine is a beauty! I have a simple Singer that my hubby Jack bought for me about 20 years ago. I'm a novice sewer so it's plenty of machine for me.

My Lily is plenty too, but I'd love to do some designing and although I can do quite a bit with my sewing machine, not quite enough, kwim. A girl can always dream, right!!

With the ammount of sewing you do cj, you deserve that beauty!

I'm the proud owner of a Janome Quilters Companion. :) My previous sewing machine, a Brother, I had for 20+ years.

I'm doing more sewing now. My DIL is teaching me the finer points and I'm really enjoying it.

I like it, but don't use it like I had hoped I would. :o I will, but other hobbies seem more appealing at the moment.

Oh CJ, that is the one I was drooling over when I test drove some machines last year! I would love to have that machine! :D

Sara, I did test drive the Fresia, and I loved that one too!

Someday I'll get a new machine.

I have a very cheap White brand sewing machine. I don't care for it, but I hope to be buying the Omega Necchi treadle sewing machine (just the machine), DH's mom has the base with treadle already. I think it will be so cool!!! :D

Oh Michele, I can't wait to see it! :D

Pat, I have found the older machines are such work horses! I have a really old Singer too that I got especially for sewing many heavy layers. Works wonderfully! :D

*UPDATE*

Dee has a new sewing machine! :D

Here she is and I'm in love......... http://www.brother-usa.com/HomeSewing/homesewingdetail_AREA=SEWING_1&PRODUCTID=CS6000T.aspx

Haven't had a chance to really 'play' with her yet as I am making more hats for Sandy right now. When I am done with those I will get to play and see what all she can do. ;)

What a beauty, Dee. I know you will love it.
I have an old White machine that my grandparents bought me waaay back when I was in Jr.High. Still works like a dream. I bought a Bernina when dd was a baby because I needed the free arm for the tiny clothes. I use the Bernina more simply because it is portable and the White is in a big cabinet.

I have the $99 Brother from Walmart. I had a JC Penney machine which I got when I graduated from HS in 1975. It finally gave up the ghost about 4 years ago. So, I bought the Brother. I really don't need all the fancy stitches and such, but I do wish it had an auto buttonholer.

I also have a Brother serger, which I adore!

Cheryl, I couldn't live without my Brother Serger! That is why I finally decided on the Brother sewing machine, I have had such good luck with them. :)

Twisti, I learned to sew on a Kenmore about 30 years ago, great machines! If you need any help, just holler, someone here can help you. ;)
