Do you have a cleaning schedule?

I'd love to see it if you do. (like laundry on Mondays, floors on Tuesdays, vacuuming on Wednesdays, etc)?

A very loose one. Laundry is done on Mondays by DH. I clean the cat box, take out the trash, sweep and mop floors on Saturday early afternoon while DH does his radio show. After that, I just try and keep up with small things daily.

Michelle mine isn't exactly a schedule but here's what I do most of the time...and keeping in mind that it's only Gripey and me at home so it stays cleaner longer...

I try to clean each room from top to bottom (ceiling fans, using the webster to knock down spider webs all around the perimeter and in the corners, clean the blinds, vaccuum the baseboards, clean the mirrors, etc..) once a month. Then for the rest of the month I swipe the bathrooms, keep the floors clean (about every 3rd day I use the dustmop on the laminate flooring) and run around with the feather duster. It stays looking really nice this way and when I'm doing the once a month cleaning I do about 2-3 rooms per day, usually until it's time for the living room. It's big and has more stuff in it so it's usually only the living room/dining room on that day. It really keeps my house looking good to do it this way...until times like now when I'm all out of my routine due to my dmom's illness and all the painting and cleaning I've done at their new house. My house is topsy turvey right now, except I did the bathrooms...whew! Hope this helps a bit..... I know it doesn't exactly apply as you have children at home....

We had seven Children....so I did most of the major work at night after Kids were in bed.

During the day, I did laundry, cooked, watched the little ones that were not in school yet & usually had some visitors for coffee.

In the later years, I had one Daughter who swore she had never seen me clean a thing!!!!!!!lol

On Saturdays, each Child helped with a cleaning job...either the Lv. room--Kitchen--Bathroom...plus cleaned their Bedroom...changed sheets, etc.

I don't know if I am remembering it all clearly...You will have to get Deed to comment.

The only thing I tend to do on a schedule these days is change and wash all sheets on Sunday.

The only schedule I have is laundry on Monday. I sometimes end up having to do a load on another day, however I love having my laundry done the first of the week and not have to worry about it again for the remainder of the week.

I'm not a person who works well under a schedule.
