Always make sure you attach a label on the back of your quilt. (Do I, no, although I should.)
When attaching it, attach it before you quilt the layers all together. That way your quilt stitches will integrate the label into your quilt project. This is especially important when you've made a heirloom quilt. The label is much harder for someone to take off.
On your label you should put:
your name
date you did the quilt
title of the quilt
You can also put the washing instructions on if you so wish.
