We have a tiny thrift store in our town of 10,000 people. Staffed by volunteers. Nothing is priced. Stock varies greatly.

But I have found some great deals there.

For example

* cashmere sweater for DD -- $0.75
* Clutter's Last Stand book -- $0.25
* Aigner leather purse -- great shape -- $2

I went the other day, and made a pile of things I was interested in. They charged me $2 for the pile:

* Lizwear sweater for me
* Lord & Taylor angora sweater for DD
* 2 books
* tie dyed pillow sham

Very great deals. How neat to have nothing priced. I love thrift store shopping too. I try and post my clothing finds on Frugal Village when I think of it. Good find on the purse. I wish I could find a nice one for cheap. I'd like to carry one again. (I haven't in yrs :eek: ) The purses must be snatched up quickly at mine. :)

I love thrift store shopping too. Ours are all volunteers (at least the ones I go to) and the prices are very reasonable.

I particularly love "bag days" when you get a full bag for $3.

Great finds on your deals.
