Staying up late alone

Does anyone else do this?

Sometimes it seems the only re-charge time I can get is if I stay up after everyone is in bed. Even if I just watch a little TV or read...it feels good to just be in the quiet.

I do this all the time. With homeschooling and 3 special needs kids, I need down time. I find it's the best time for me, late into the night. I always get a good book, sit back and enjoy.

I used to do this a lot when we had our 3 dk's at home. Now I don't find the need as often.

I do this a lot!! Even though I am home during the day I spend it cleaning and getting everything done so my time to relax is when everyone else goes to bed!

I work 2nd shift and don't get home till 11pm and by that time dh is in bed as he gets up at 6:30 am to go to work, so during the week I am always up late by myself but on the weekends I am in bed before dh

That's the only time I have to read or chat with friends online, Its usuallly when I check boards as well, unless I sham during the day and waste time.

I did this all the time when I was pregnant. I would try to sleep and couldn't so I would go in the living room and read or watch TV. I haven't done it much since I started back to work. But when I get the chance to I love it.

Used to, now I like sleeping too much and look forward to going to bed, lol.

Well, the only time I get to relax is I take a hot bath witout my hearing aids,I dont hear a thing. I was born hard of hearing and got my first aids at the age of 3 yrs old and now I wear two behind the ear digital hearing aids. I like to read in the quiet room too!
