I have to think on this one.

Whats yours?

Vinegar

I plan on doing this tomorrow.

Boil some vinegar = deodorizes the whole house and the odor goes away within a ½ hour. (Open a window if you can as it can get quite potent.)

Then pour the boiled vinegar down my drains to freshen them!

Double duty! lol

To unclog slow drains:

Slowly put as much baking soda down the drain as you can. Then dump some more in the sink area. Slowly pour white vinegar in and watch the bubbles. Go slow and allow the bubbles to unclog the sink. Keep going until all the baking soda and bubbles are gone. I've been known to use the whole box of baking soda on a particularly stubborn sink.

Vinegar + Baking Soda + Salt + An old toothbrush = the ultimate cleaner!

I don't even buy cleaning products (other than laundry soap) anymore, because I can clean anything just as well with these four things. Proof: our old fridge broke down and our landlord gave us his second-hand fridge. It was covered in stickers and all that gross black goo that is left on after old stickers are removed. I got out my bottle of Goo Gone and scrubbed that thing for 15 minutes and couldn't get anything to come off. I left it for a week or so, and went at it again, this time with diluted vinegar and some baking soda. You should see my sparkly fridge! :D :D :D

You can clean anything -- soap scum, pet stains, blood, crayon, permanent marker, etc. with vinegar, baking soda, salt and a toothbrush. It WILL come out! :D

Bright Blessings!

I mix my own cleaners a lot too (also except for laundry stuff). I use the instructions on this link.

That and the 27 thing fling and working on hot spots (cluttered areas) one at a time from Flylady are my favorites.

Oh, and using mr. clean magic erasers to remove crayon, etc. from walls. It is great for dishes, stains, countertops, etc. also.
