my husband and energy drinks

I don't know what's up with my husband, but he has a new addiction. Energy drinks! We cut pop out a long time ago, but are coffee drinkers. Suddenly, he is on this energy drink kick. Anyone else's husband drink these things?

I too am a coffee drinker. I do drink some diet Pepsi also, but not too much. My daughter drank Red Bull the week of her wedding when I was there. When I got home I had such bad jet lag and sleep deprivation that I tried one. Not only was it too expensive almost 2.00, but it didnt do as much as a cup of coffee. I'll stick to the Joe. Hve you tried one Sara?

I didn't try one. They are expensive. It's like $7 for a 4 pack of them. I like my coffee, but am not much of a cold caffeine drinker. I smelled it and that was enough for me. :D

LOL Sara, I have smelled those things too, yep put me right off them! ;)

Luckily no Jack doesn't drink them, we are also big coffee drinkers here too. But my dad is now drinking them. Ensure I think, but he is recuperating from surgery still and is so dang skinny he has to wear suspenders to keep his pants from falling off! :eek:

I bought some of the Red Bull and had 2,Steve drank one and one is left. They taste AWFUL! I thought maybe they'd give me energy,but I didn't really notice anything.

Steve's a coffee drinker,but I'm not.

I've had a couple. They do pack the calories of something. I kind of like it, but not enough to really get a lot of them.

I drink Maxwell House masterblend coffee mostly and several kinds of teas (both hot and cold). I feel no need to get on the expensive, gourmet, fancy drink kick.

I do like bottled water though. I also love sulphur water (there is a natural sulphur springs here in OK as well as yellow and black water there). They are good for ailments and health problems. Makes me feel better immediately to drink them. I need to take trips there with empty gallon jugs for some.
