Girls Night Out

Ryan and I are having a girls night out tonight. She has to stay 1 hour late at school to catch up on some of her work. After that we are going to a movie of her choice (Beauty Shop, The Pacifier or Miss Congentiality 2). Then dinner and roaming around the mall. We will be looking for some summer clothes for her since I donated all her outgrown stuff to Goodwill. Mel is not invited to our night out so we can hit all the stores that we like and not have to enter the hardware dept. a single time. I can't wait. I know we will blow money that could be used for other things but I don't care. We deserve a treat! I didn't even tell him when we'd be home but I bet it's after the mall closes! Got my tennis shoes and a change of clothes for Ryan (don't want to wear the uniform to our fun night). We are ready!

Had a wonderful evening. We went to see Beauty Shop and it was hilarious. The language was a bit much but the movie was still very funny. Next it was dinner at the mexican place - we split chicken fajitas and still had leftovers to bring home. Ryan decided that she didn't want to go roam the mall and we ended up at Goodwill instead. It was nice to just hang out with my lovely dd. She is so precious.
