Typically, I can just pop my comforter into the washer and dryer and all is groovy, but Gabe just purchased a new comforter and it doesn't look like it would hold up well in our washer. Send it to the cleaners? Wash by hand? I'm not sure how to wash this thing. lol

Do you have a gentle cycle on your washing machine. That might work, otherwise I would think you'd have to send them to the drycleaners if you're worried about them.

I don't use comforters, just quilts. I wash them all in the washing machine and then hang them outside to dry.

Normally, I put mine in the washer, then hang it out on the line to dry!

I have one that is much fancier than annyother I've ever had. It has lovely rope detailing & such. I'm thinking of cleaners once a year and some outdoor fresh air in between. It's not really getting dirty in my opinion, just sitting there looking pretty.

We have a super capacity washer and dryer so they get washed and dried in those.

I have one now that I'm not sure how it would wash either. I've thought about the dry cleaners for it as well.
