For those of you with laminate flooring....what do you clean it with?

I've been using a vinegar/water spray for mine and I read that vinegar will eat the finish off of it. SSsooooo I'm looking for something else and not so spendy to clean it with. Anyone?

Do you mean the laminate plank that looks like hardwood or regular laminate/vinyl?

I think you and I talked about laminate plank a while back (back when I actually got sleep at night and had a brain that functioned LOL). If that's the one, we were told to clean ours with a dry dust mop. I argued that your floor would not be completely clean (sanitary) that way, but the place we purchased from insisted that's all you need to do. I've had suggested to me that I get a microfiber mop (like the one sold in the Don Aslett line) and use it just barely dampened with hot water.

Yes that's what I was talking about Carolyn. I keep feeling as if I should be using something more than water though....lol. I have one of those Don Aslet mops and I really like it a lot. Reckon I'll have to get it out on Monday and have a good mop around.....lol.
