I am always looking for good cookie recipes. I like baking cookies. What are your family favorite recipes?

Molasses Gingerbread Cookies!

choclate drop cookies,
ginger snaps(with 4 spices in it)
and saltine squares

Our favorites as of late are peanut butter bars and rice krispie treats.

Peanut Butter Bars:

8 tbs(1 stick) butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 and 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup self-rising flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease/flour a 9x13 pan.
Melt butter and p'nut butter in a bowl over hot water(I've done this in the microwave with good results)
Add all remaining ingredients and stir until blended.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.

GH had one recently with dates and dried apricots. Good stuff, Maynard!
